Individual Spiritual Direction
In spiritual direction, we intentionally make space to take notice of our conversation with God. It is a place to share what is significant in your life and where, together, we listen for God’s voice and pay attention to God’s movement to cultivate your capacity to hear and discern God’s voice.
Sessions are 50 - 60 minutes in length in-person in San Diego or over Zoom.
I offer a free initial session as part of the discernment process.
Group Spiritual Direction
For groups of 3 - 8 people facilitated by a spiritual director.
Sessions are usually 90 - 120 minutes in length and occur monthly.
Group spiritual direction sessions begin with a sacred pause sitting in silence and noticing what emerges from within the experience of one’s life. This is followed by individuals taking turns sharing about their life with God while the rest of the group listens. Followed by silence, the group offers questions of curiosity and presence to the person who shared about the movement of God in and around their life.
Group spiritual direction is great for friends, teams, groups of leaders, and those in vocational ministry to pursue God together through the search for the movement of God in one another’s lives. Contact me directly to arrange specific details regarding your group.
Retreats
Our lives are full of longings and attachments. Retreats offer an opportunity to examine those longings and attachments when they are not present and converse with God without distraction. They are a space to attune ourselves to God’s voice and movement in search of rest, discernment, and clarity.
Retreats can be a few hours, a full day, or multiple days in length.
